I took delivery of my GLE 53 AMG Coupe and I am trying to figure out where to place the sunpass on the windshield. It has the winter package so it has the heated windshield, but it does not have the acoustic package. I was not able to find anywhere in the manual if the windshield has certain spots where it can go.
Does anyone know where the sunpass can go on the windshield or if it can go anywhere and still work?

The only windshield that I know of that restricts toll pass placement is the Acoustic glass. Use the instructions from Sunpass.
My cars' plates are all registered in my sunpass account. Don't use the transponders anymore. All toll areas I've seen across the state use cameras to read the plates, hence transponder isn't needed, at least as I use the toll system. Maybe sunpass in states outside Florida still require the transponder.
@suby01 A sunpass is the toll transponder for the tolls on Florida roads (and I think some out of state too).
@TF_CC Thank you! That is where I put mine. I was not sure if this windshield was different and the manual was not helpful.
@mikapen My GLE 53 AMG Coupe has the "winter package" which has a heated windshield and a heated steering wheel. I was not sure if the heated windshield would affect the Sunpass.
@jaxslk Without the transponder, do you get the discounted Sunpass price or does it just go through bill by plate?
I’ve seen on YouTube that you can place the sticker on the sunroof on a piece of clear static window cling. I haven’t done as I am ordering a new GLE 63s Coupe, but my build date is in May. I’m going to do it this weekend and I’ll report my findings.

Just follow the sunpass instructions.
My toll pass provider suggested using the leading edge of the sunroof. I have put it there but I haven't run through any tolls to see if it's a good suggestion.

Yes, all cars registered to my account in the sunpass portal appear to get the discounted rate, just as if they each had a transponder. They call this an image toll, and the number of image tolls you can have per month and still get the transponder rate may be limited. We don't seem to use it more than 8-10 times per month, so you should call Sunpass operations and talk to the rep. there and describe your usage situation. They should be able to tell you how your fees would be charged.

I have the Acoustic Comfort Package "DC5" on my '22 GLE53. This includes "infrared glass Code 596." The windshield has a coating on the inside of the windshield which blocks transponder function and radar detector detections except in certain spots as shown in the Owner's Manual. My Valentine 1 radar detector occupies the open spot to the right of the rear view mirror. Initially I mounted my toll transponder in the open spot at the base of the windshield shown in the Owner's Manual which supposedly is an OK spot but that apparently obscured electromagnetic signals (not just infrared.) For whatever reason, the transponder was not being picked up by the highway sensors so I planned to relocate it elsewhere. Unfortunately, the film can be easily scratched or damaged as I did when removing the transponder. I cleaned up the film and painted a black square on the inside of the windshield to improve appearance.
When I explained the situation to the DMV clerk, she offered a Motorcycle Sticker for placement on the left-side headlight. That seems to work well. No further issues.

Just to restate, your winter package does not have a "heated windshield." It has a "Heated windshield washer system." (Squirters.)
Placement is only critical on Acoustic Glass (with IR block). It's an $1100 option. It's not part of the winter package.
Put your Sunpass where the pass providers instruct.
Maybe try Sunpass Pro.
Also, I thought as long as your license plate and vehicle description is in your sun pass account you don’t need to worry about the pass getting read each time.
