Problem with GLE 53 coupe not smooth
Hello,
I bought a certified pre owned 2021 mercedes 53 coupe. When I drive it on any road that is not perfect, the car does not drive smooth. It almost is a fight for me to steer it in the middle of the road. It almost jerks against me. I have to grip the wheel hard in order to stay straight. I took it to the dealer he told me they drove it and what I was experiencing was "bumper steering" or something to that nature. Is this car not suppose to be smooth? my 2015 camry drove smoother then this.

I have noticed mine is the same lately but owned since new. Feels very skittish on the road
Only done 7k so not tyres, thinking alignment? I do feel that it has been since the lane assist camera was replaced but think it’s on my mind…it doesn’t improve when unturned assist.
thinking the vehicle may be sensitive to being slightly out of alignment!?

Sounds like tramlining.
It's where the tires follow grooves or wear lanes on road surfaces, independent of alignment.
High tire pressures can accentuate the effect. It could be alignment or the tires themselves.
It can be more noticeable with staggered fitments, and wider tires are more susceptible.
Alignment might help, or might not. Removing camber or deviating from factory settings can make it worse as well.
