Transfer Case Fluid Dilemma
Planned to change the fluid in my 2017 GLE43 tonight. Picked up the fluid from the Mercedes dealer. They gave me Gold MB 236.17 fluid - said it was the same as the transmission.
When I pulled the transfer case plug red fluid came streaming out. I'm hesitant now to put the gold fluid in.
The MB Operating fluids site is no help.
What to the MBWorld expert say?
