GLE SUV W166 Trailer hitch/towbar is stuck in the open position
Has anyone taken apart an electric towbarlike this? The limit switches under the multimeter are ok. Everything looks clean and functional. The hook doesn't retract. In xentry it shows that it is hidden. No errors.
After activating the switch, something happens to the hook and it shows "the hook is sliding out" even though it is extended, and then gives the error "check the hook lock".
The only thing that worries me is that I can't move the gear after taking off electric motor.
