W166 GLE63s AMG Fender and Rear Hatch Emblems/Badge Positioning/Measurements

Hi everyone!

Not new here (Had a W204 C350 in the past) but have a new W166 GLE63s coming my way some time next week. The one I'm buying has the "V8biturbo" fender emblem in the wrong place. I also have bought gloss black ones to replace the chrome ones. Is anyone kind enough to measure the position of their fender and rear hatch emblems and badges please? I can't seem to find a template/stencil or measurements anywhere, including this forum.

Thanks in advance!

If you're still in need of this, I will get some pictures and measurements for you this weekend!
If, by some chance, you already have it figured out, let me know and save me the effort, LOL!
Ha, PotatoMage, what's the story behind your screen name?
Also, I hope you post some pics of your new ride when you get it.

I haven't figured it out yet, so that would be so amazing, thank you! I'll definitely be taking lots of pics haha, a lot of people have asked me for pics once they found out I bought one!

I'm taking delivery tomorrow so the weekend would be excellent, I haven't received the emblems yet anyway so I have time.

About PotatoMage, it was an old gaming username I had when I was a kid and I just use it for everything now hahaha

This is very difficult to get precise measurements. The door gaps and all the body line gaps are not straight!
This is the best I could do. Hope it helps...it is important that you measure to the bottom of the letters because some are different sizes at the top.
Picture #1 "AMG" (driver side, rear)

Lay a piece of tape out measuring from bodyline gap to top of tape which will be where the bottom of your letters will be. On extreme left bottom is 3.25 inches down. (represented in pic by longer blue tape)
Measure from gap on left to bottom corner is 2.75 inches. (represented by shorter blue tape)
On extreme right is 2.75 inches to bottom of "G" again measuring from gap down to the "G".

Next picture "GLE 63S" (passenger side, rear)

From top gap down to extreme bottom corner of "G" is 2.75 inches and to bottom corner of "63" is 3.25 inches.
Measuring from body gap on right over to the bottom of "63" is 4.25 inches. To bottom of "S" will be 2.75 inches from gap (represented by shorter blue tape).

Next...driver side "V8 Biturbo"

measure down 12.25 inches from gap to bottom of "V" and 11.75 to bottom corner of "o" in "biturbo".
measure .75 inches from door gap on left over to bottom of "V".

Passenger side will be same measurements in reverse (mirrored).
(11.75 to bottom of "V" and 12.25 to bottom of "o" with .75 to door gap)

Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck.
