Interior Protection making me crazy- Help!

Greetings, my wife just got a beautiful GLE 53 AMG coupe. This week we took our first road trip to Banff and I absolutely love the way it looks and drives. But we were traveling with our dog and half the time we stopped we would walk away from the car and the alarm would go off. I understand interior protection and how to turn it off but is it really necessary to remember every time we get out to dive through multiple sub menus and turn it off? I'm hoping there's a setting I haven't found or some work around. Thanks in advance for any information.

You can turn Interior alarm off easily by disabling Interior Protection in Mercedes Me Connect app. But it will go back on after you start and turn off car. Dealer my be able to code it off IDK.

It's just your car telling you to never leave your dog in a locked car in the summer heat..

It seems like a comment about not leaving a dog in a locked car during summer heat, while important, doesn’t directly address the issue of the interior protection system causing alarms to go off, nor does it really apply in 50F summer weather.

OP, maybe you can private message one of the coders on here: elebest, RJ Automotive, BenzNinja

They might be able to code this feature to be saved or disabled.

Yes. it can be coded off, but it will be always off. If you need, we can help. We usually do this for cars always trigger false alarm.

Appreciate the concern for Laci, our borador. Not to worry, she's well cared for.

ideally I'd like the setting I chose to remain until I change it. That's pretty much how I like all things to work. If that's possible via coding I'd consider it. I'm disappointed that it's not offered through the standard interface.

It's kind of like "lower on getting in." It always resets.

Have you used the Car icon button to the left of the palm rest?
At least it gives immediate access to the toggle.

No I had not. That's super helpful, thanks!
Looks like I need to spend more time with the manual.

Hello EleBest.
Have you coded this already on a 2024 GLE?
