Good morning all. I recently switched over from BMW. Have driven, raced and built them for many decades. My last BMW was an X3M competition pkg. Anyway, I am now in a 2025 GLE53 and I love it. Still learning it and loving every minute. My name (BTW) is Bruce.

Welcome ! I was a BMW fanboy for may years but left the brand when the horrible Chris Bangle designs emerged. Haven't looked back, MB has the perfect blend of looks and performance, you will be very happy with the 53.

I hated Bangle's design. The new BMW's are sharp, aggressive looking, but overstated IMO, plus the performance models are just too hard riding for my taste. They used to be so pretty with such smooth pretty lines. I owned many in the 95-2005 range. Had an X3M competition and hated it. Moved to a used E450 coupe and now the 53. The AMG53 is a cut above IMO. More comfort, luxury and decent handling.
