Thoughts on 2025 GLE 53 AMG

I wonder if there is a chance it is also a break-in noise? You could test a pre-facelift V167 GLE 350, that doesn't have the mild-hybrid, the facelift does, if the sound isn't there maybe it is indeed the 48V mild hybrid system noise or you have very good ears : ) Did you know that there are some frequencies that certain individuals can hear that no one else hears? That might be the case : )

Does this mean any non mild hybrid would work for comparison?
Today I was driving my son to school and he was like mom! I hear an ambulance coming, get ready to pull over! I started laughing and told him that's the noise that the car makes. He thinks it could be the tire pressure as he recalls our E 350 was making a similar noise (I wasn't driving it on that day so don't recall)

That said, alternatively, you could test any mild hybrid sedan as well, then you can confirm if it is the mild hybrid noise.
As finding a pre-facelift GLE 350 to test is harder than just finding a mild-hybrid vehicle to test as most new MBs are mild hybrid now, if in doubt, please feel free to ask us what model you are planning to test and its year and we can tell you if it is a mild hybrid or not.
