Does anyone know if the facelift bumpers bolt up directly to a pre-facelift car, or are there extra parts/modifications required (brackets, grille, undertray, wheel arch liners, crash bar, etc.)?
Also, if it does fit:
Will it affect parking sensors (PDC) alignment/fitment?
Any issues with radar / DISTRONIC, 360 camera, front camera, headlight washers, or other driver-assist features?
It mostly bolts up. The main shell usually fits the same mounting points. But the grille, trim, and all the little parts are different and must come from the facelift version. Sensors and cameras will physically fit in the new bumper holes, but if their position or angle changes even slightly, it'll cause errors. Parking sensors might work but could beep at ghosts. Radar and DISTRONIC will almost certainly need recalibration by a dealer or specialist tool to aim it properly. Expect to need coding. It's not just a straight bolt-on swap if you want all the tech to work right.
