GL450 Premier Edition
I haven't posted in a while, but am in the market again. Went to dealer to talk about GLK after receiving an email promo. $499/month 39 Month Lease, 10K Miles, $5000 down.
Went to dealer, of course they don't have a qualifying vehicle in stock, but ended up negotiating on a GLK, MSRP for $44,425.
Options:
Sport Package
Premium 1
Multimedia
Was able to get the lease down to
$649/month - 39 months
$4000 down
12K miles.
They told me my MF was .00225, Residual on 10K is 54%, 12K 52%.
What do you think?
From these numbers how do I calculate my purchase price?

well they are definitely padding the money factor -- MB base rate is .00197
work the math using MSRP and see what you get? With that upfront money looks like you are putting down around $2000 deposit (reducing the cap)-- not a great idea for a lot of reasons....

i agree lease money factor is high -- with MUCH lower money factor and deep discounts off MSRP on ML350 and ML320 you can lease one of them -- with a stikcer 10k higher thna GLK for less money -- do the math
ALso I am in Boston and Herb Chambers is doing his usual crap job of promoting the car -- test drove GLK last Friday and Salesman just called and still would not give me any solid info in the options on cars "Driving up from MAryland" -- jeeez. Told me the GLK would be between 34 and 43K -- pretty evident I know more about this model than he does....
If i can convince the wife I think I will just get her an ML lease -- no sense leasing GLK for more money....
