Ours is Arctic White, and we went with most of the exterior options and the split spoke 20" wheels, so it looks pretty much like the white one shown in the brochure that Mike S linked to above (thanks Mike!).

I was looking through the brochure Mike linked to, and saw that on page 10 - 11 most of the chrome bits are listed on page 10 as item numbers 1 - 6, but on page 11 there is a number 7 in the area of the headlights. This is not mentioned anywhere else. Does anyone know what that is? Maybe a chrome eyebrow?

Calcite white with Almond beige with high gloss Walnut trim... delivery expected in late Sept
BTW the standard uphostery isn't MB Tex on the GLKs as I still keep hearing people call it. It's "Artico man made leather"
I also agree with "yualfred", HK sound is WAAAYYYY overrated! Also, it's too bad you guys down south get different rims for the 20" upgrade. We get the "Edition 1" style 5 spokes up here in Canada, just like in Euro. They look more "AMGish" IMO.

I don't really see how you can compare a 100 watt stereo with 9-channel DSP amplifier maximize 11 loudspeakers and 600 watts 5.1 channel sound.
???

No your right, there is no difference, but 1K more.

Ok, so I have heard some of our US friends say they bought their GLK in Arctic White, that doesn't exist here in Canada...we get the Calcite White - is this the same colour or is it just a Canada / US thing like the 20" rims??

+1.. Although I didn't listen to the standard radio, all I know is that what I hear sounds sweet. I've always done aftermarket audio/video in my cars (namely Alpine or Pioneer) and 1000.00 for such a nice setup is paltry compared to what I would drop on an Alpine multimedia setup.

I will have to pop a DVD movie in and check out the 5.1 soon.

I'm sure there is a fundamental difference in the quality of the two systems' sound reproduction, and I have personally heard them both. But, that being said, i also admit that my appreciation for sound quality isn't particulary refined... I mean the difference has got to be as drastic as between a shower radio VS a Mark Levinson system before I can pick up on it

No worries its a matter of personal taste... I personally liked the HK more, rather than the standard.

On the white naming, my guess is that it is two different names for the same color, since the same colors are available (to a large degree) across the various models. We also looked at the Iridium silver, which is exactly the same color as on our old M-class. That is the same Iridium silver as on the C- and E-classes too. Since the factory in Germany is building these I would be pretty certain that they are only spraying so many colors, and there is no real benefit to having two slightly different "bright" whites. I would bet they are exactly the same with different names. Maybe they think our friends North of the border don't want to be reminded of the proximity to the Arctic circle j/k

As to the wheels, we farther South can get the same ones, at least according to this pic I found of the Edition 1 - these are what we ordered. Or is it a question of which ones come with certain packages, as opposed to which ones are in general available as accessories? Here is the Edition 1 pic showing the same wheels as we are getting (in the US):

LOL! That's classic and probably true!

EDIT: That is an awesome picture btw! Where did you dig it up? My GLK will look exactly the same!

It's a limited launch model for Europe and some parts of Asia. Availabel in black or white, it's spec'd just like in the picture, and it's also got Designo 2 tone leather interior, AMG steering wheel and pedals.

The clear lenses are just the regular European spec.

Black with Black interior. I did not get the Obsidian Metallic Black because IMO the regular black is a sharper, deeper black.

Judging from the guy next to it (3 button suit jacket and where it falls on him, I think he's just a really tall guy) making the GLK look shorter. I know when I walk up to my car sometimes it doesn't appear that small/low but when I see it in pictures I'm like...what? Either I got bigger or the car got smaller.
