What color is your GLK?
Just ordered a GLK 350
I ordered the Tenorite Grey, which I presume is the Steel Grey. O ordered it with the beige Artico Leather, and added the 4 packages. I'm thinking I should have ordered the premium sound, but does anyone have the regular sound package and is it OK?
I also ordered illuminated door sills that say "Mercedes Benz". It is a dealer installed option I'd seen on Lexus and it is very nice.

I was debating about HK logic 7 system and I didn't buy it. So far I am quite happy with the standard sound system. I had compared both in the dealer but only with FM radio. Overall, I felt HK will give you a little more wattage in sound pressure and maybe a little extension in low frequency responce. If you are a DVD fan and watch a lot of movies in your car (I found I can't finish a movie in my car for 3 weeks), or you have many DTS music discs. You should seriously consider this. In my opinion, the fidelity of the sound doesn't improve with HK system. I even heard forum members complaint HK makes music sound too hollow. So just for CDs, mp3s and a little DVD movies, you don't need HK. Before you choose to buy HK, make sure your already got Premium and Bi-xenon, as both have better value, imo.
way to bring back 3 month old thread and hi jack it hahaha
Welcome to MBworld, Mike, I got Steel Grey also and love it. I wanted to get black but got talked out of it and really happy with steel grey.
Those are illuminated door sills, running boards are on the outside of the car, post pics of them, I wanted to get them but 600 bux is a bit too much for these.

Btw, I turned down for door sill - if you open your car door 4 times a day, 2 seconds each time. 1000 canadian bux makes it very expensive moments.
to NYCGLK, I corrected my mistake, yes it is the door sills. I haen't seen a picture of them , and won't get the GLK until August 26 or so, but I've seen it on a Lexus and it looked good so Thought I'd give it a try.
If the picture of your car as shown is steel Grey , then That's not what I got. In the brochure it's called tenorite, which is darker.
However, I must say your GLK does look great.

Palladium Silver w/grey leather
Color isn't on the MB USA 'build your vehicle' web page but it's been available for a couple months. On the C-Class page for comparison...color is slotted between Steel Grey and Iridium Silver.

Mine is Barolo Red, Black MBTex interior (easier with our pets) and the aluminum trim...
The only mod to the car is the 15% window tint and the entire front end and mirrors clear bra...

I'd go with Grey or Black, or even white, over silver anyday for any car.
Ask yourself this..who's paying for this car, and who's going to be driving it most of the time? That person should be the one choosing.

I've noticed that calcite white is not easiest color to get a good digital photo of. My small digi-camera just doesnt have enough dynamic range for it and there's always a part of the paint that's blown out - over exposed. The above photo shows that same type of problem.

If you don't get a pic before the end of the month (when I pick mine up at Sindelfingen), I'll post one...black, burl, light gray leather.
