so in the previous post i said i was unsure of keeping the shade tint on the windows? the tinter said it is 30%. houston's legal limit is 35% on the driver and pass. windows. i wanted to be the same shade all the way around, but was concerned about troubling cops. he said it will be almost exact? i think i'm just being picky, but i think it's to light. my old car had 35% and it seemed darker? i'm not to concerned about when i have the inspection done, because i have a good relationship with a state inspector.

I've been wanting to get tints for my ride for the past here but here in Jersey i know the police are gonna be busting my chops every other day so why torture myself uughhhhhhhh !

I hope my hometown of Houston didn't go and make a city ordinance regarding window tint. Also, my personal taste would be to match the rear passenger windows to the driver and right passenger windows. Sometimes too dark becomes tacky.

your good with what you got there. if you get it any darker they will start checking, but having it a little lighter in the front than the back makes it appear more legal.

the back windows are factory. i only tinted the 2 fronts. i figured darker on the front windows wouldn't look to dark due to the windshield and the pano roof. in the pics the screens are closed too. i should have took a closer angled shot.

Looks great to me. I'm still debating a clear bra and if we get it, that will be before the tinting.

Looks nice but I agree with that they look lighter.... I would get the 20% done if you can get by the state inspection, but must say this mod is a must do.
