I have some Braubus 18s in my Garage off a 2003/240 MB sedan. When I get my new GLK, I would like to use them as extra wheels for snow tires. Anyone know if bolt pattern and offset will be the same?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I think a GLK63 AMG would be possibly the best performance SUV out there. They do an AMG version of cars like the R class, which arguably doesn't need it, the GLK would be PERFECT! Talk about a Cherokee-SRT8 killer.

Maybe GLK year two, if very successfull or at the first GLK refresh, I could see a less than full AMG pakage with susspension mods, modest HP/torque boost from V6, brake mods and the usual exterior/interior AMG treatment. A full V8 AMG seems a reach.
New small cars (from Mustang to BMW 3 series) have a way of growing with age. If the GLK gains two inches in length and one inch in width, wheelbase/height/weight dynamics may be more favorible for V8 AMG option. If the GLK grows, at some refresh point, the diesel and its added torque will be available to handle added weight and AMG V8 would make more sense.
If the GLK is a run away success, AMG here we come. Thats my guess.

There is no R63, it was a sold to order option for one year and was discontinued. There is also no AMG version of the GL. So not all MB cars get the AMG treatment, but I really wouldn't be surprised if a GLK63 rolled out sooner or later.

I think were more likely to see brabus try to drop a V12TT in there or something nuts before AMG puts the time into it.

GLK V8 showing NOW at Geneva Auto Show, by Brabus of course.
Engine is a heavily modified S500 V8 and the engine is just the start. Brakes, suspension, mounts, etc, etc, etc.
SUV brother to the Brabus C Bullit.
