I believe you have uploaded all your contacts via the black berry first. I have not been successful in syncing via the 3Gs.

I have an Iphone 3Gs and the contacts do not transfer. I've talked to both Apple and MB with no solution. Maybe Apple will come up with an update for the phone that will make it possilbe. So bummed...
