hopefully 3rd times a charm. i just picked up my glk from MB again, after them having it for a week. they had a rep from mercedes come in and look at the power tailgate. he changed the gear that drives the gate up and down. so far everything is cool..... i also got them to cover my first scheduled service(oil change and tire rotation), for my inconvienence. god i missed driving her.

First service and tire rotation is free after 5k miles at least in US.

huh? i was told it was 10k miles from the salesman and the service manager?

I was also told 10k by the sales person at Beshoff Motors in San Jose.

sales will tell you that is 10k miles before first service, the services manual says you are entitle to a 5k tire rotation.

10k is the reg service, before 5k is complimentary check up and tire rotation to make sure car is broken in ok. Not 100% sure about oil change I think is not necessary anyways.
