I don't know what this is for. It is in the back seat and cargo area.

Yualfred is correct on the cargo net. I also originally thought is was for coat hangers.

Yup the cargo net, you will also notice that there are 2 locations for the net post on each side. I got this under my cargo cover but have not tried it out yet.

Your dealership should have an accessory book that shows what all you can put in that slot. That location is usually used for a divider for pets.
