Tonight was the first time I noticed this, but I have some condensation inside my headlights. In both, by the very top. I gotta tell ya, stuff like this does not make me a happy camper

Crap, I would be very upset as well. Is it minor condensation or a lot? Can you take some pics and post it for us? I would definitely pay a visit to the dealer and have them resolve the issue.

Yea, it's a little bit at the very top! Nothing crazy, but it's enough for me to notice. My Porsche had the same problem when I first got it. Air is getting in there some how and causing the condensation. Annoying is the perfect word to use, I have no desire to visit a service department 1 week into a new car. I'll post pics tomorrow, raining here in NYC.Originally Posted by Baby G

Had this happen to my C class a couple of years ago when it was new. Dealer said to turn the fog on long enough to heat and dry the lamp. Sure enough, the trick worked. I can't explain it but the heat somehow 'seated' the seal. Don't know if it will work for you but it doesn't hurt to try. Good luck.

Thanks, I'm going to see how they look in the morning. Hopefully they'll be cleared up. Otherwise I'll let em run and burn for a lil while, before heading to the dealer Monday.

Had the same problem at delivery. Brought to the dealer and it hasn't reoccurred. Basically, I think the "plugs" to access (change the bulbs) on the headlamps are loose from factory. So when they wash the car pre-delivery, moisture gets in and condenses when headlights are on. They have to open plugs let water evaporate out, then tightly seal. If it continues to occur then have them swap out enitre assembly.

Forgot to mention I have the lighting package, but I'm pretty sure the access plug to the top of the assembly is standard xenon or non-xenon.
No moisture in there today, and it's raining pretty hard here in NYC. Going to see how it is Monday. Called my sales guy, since service is closed today. He said bring it right in Monday morning if it happens again this weekend. Hopefully it stays nice and clear!!!

It only happened to me after the headlights were on for awhile. Good Luck

For condensation to show you have to heat up the air on the inside (lights, sun), and if the glass part is cool then you will have condensation. If both are cool or both are hot condensation won't be there, but the moisture still might in the headlight.

I have the same problem. Just a little on the top but annoying, also some rattling noise from the passenger door.
