Time to delivery from order
For those of you ordered your GLK from the factory, how long did it take from the time of order to delivery. I ordered one this weekend and was told it will take 12 weeks.
Having said that when I first went in they told me they will change one of the ones they have on order to suite my options (and it will take 6-7 weeks), but of course after they got may money they stated they could not do that and will have to do a regular one and it will take 12 weeks.
Thanks.

Orderd my car mid-Feb, build scheduled for last week of April and estimated delivery last week of May or first week of June.
Frustrating that dealer rep has not returned calls/emails and I do not have a VIN# or build exact build date yet.

I think that it's nuts that dealers are not returning calls about delivery of a vehicle. I ordered my E Class from scratch back in 2004, and it took about 6/7 weeks from the time I ordered it, to the time I was pulling away from the dealership. Not to mention I got about 3 calls from my dealer in that time frame to keep me up to speed on what was going on. I also used my Amex card for the deposit of which was $500, and if they were pulling this crap to me I would have called Amex to issue a refund to me (there good like that). But to not have any answers at this point is crazy, I'd demand my money back and go elsewhere.

Yeah I feel your frustration. Some dealers reps are better than others which is why I go dealer shopping before car shopping.
This is my 4th car and so far got 3 good dealer reps - easy to get in touch with, returns calls, follows up even a couple of months after, etc.
You should probably be getting the VIN pretty soon. Not sure if the VIN is assigned when order is received or when it goes into the build which you mentioned would be the last week of April. Anybody know?
