Output is very bright. Can see great at night! Very used to xenons, had them in my 4 previous cars.

Thanks. Yea xenons do look good. They actually look even better in person. It's really hard to capture with camera the light coming from them. But the look like any other xenons you see out there, I think most of the car manufacturers used 4300k.

All are about 3x output of halogen light.
Thanks for the info

I'm definitely looking to upgrade to an HID conversion kit

I want the brightest and the whitest!

What do you guys think: 6000K vs 4300K (we know 4300K is the brightest) But not sure which one is the whitest

A place here in Los Angeles is selling the kit for $150, do you guys think that's a good deal, what about quality

Any brand names that you guys trust?

I've had plenty of cars with xenons, and my favorite were the one's that came with my Audi A8L. There color was just so much nicer, brighter, and crisper then the ones that came with my previous Benz, Porsche, and Lexus. Now the one's I had put in my GLK are 8000, and I'm completely satisfied. Could have went with 4000, 6000, etc! But to be honest I really like the that slight hint of Blue, looks closer in color to the HID's that are in the new Caddy CTS. Also be weary of cheap knock of HID kits! A real kit is more then just bulbs, Ballasts have to be installed in order for gas to be produced that sparks the xenon bulbs to burn. My kit was fairly expensive, and a good kit will run u upwards of $400 and up, especially to be installed correctly. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the job my boy did at 212 motoring! Good luck, hope this helps.

Thanks SEan

Too bad we dont have 212 mnotoring in LA

Did you guys do an HID conversion of just the low beams of a combination of low beams or high beams or a combination of low beams and fog lights

I always turn on my fog light so do yo think it would look weird if left the fog lights stock with HID's on my low beam

Or should I just put brighter bulbs on the fog lights

No conversion for the high beams! That involves some moving around and what not! The Phillips kit is fairly easy to install, plug and play! But a professional needs to install em! As for the fog lights, they would have to be converted to xenons to match the top. They have a kit for the fogs that converts them to xenons. imho it looks cool, and I still might do it! But not until I have a couple of hundred burning a hole in my pocket. But the xenon kit looks great over all.

Just buy 6-8000K fog bulbs (30-50 bux) What's the point of xenon fog set? It's only color that you are looking for, not the functionality. Also would the set come with lens for fogs?

Good point, I will just change the bulbs for my fog lights just to match the HID low beams

I finally did it, I will wait till tonight to see how they look though

I got my HID 6000K (I wanted white lights) for my low beams only for $260 (kit and install) [I was told to buy the most expensive kit and I know that isn't the most expensive but it was the most convenient at this time (hope I dont regret it later on)

I replaced the fog lights with some blue bulbs $30 ( I specifically told them that I wanted white bulbs but they said there wasnt any available)
The owner said that he will give me credit when and if I uprade to HID for my fog lights. By the way, he said that its very hard to match the color of fog lights wit low beams because they are different types of lenses anyways.

I should have taken pics of the installation process but I forgot my camera, darn it.

I will post pics later one tonight after i take them and give this ride a bath.

My new Signature pic has the Parking lites that I had put in! Imo it looks a 100% better when these bulbs are combined with the Phillips xenons .

Are the lights on or off, Im assuming their off, It would look nicer if you also change your light bulbs in the top right hand corner but definitely leave the turn signals bulbs alone (dont want ticket)

i just learned about LED bulbs and they are definitely the way to go, they are awsome and inexpensive

I replaced my entire interior and exterior lighting (except rear brake lights, front turn signals) with either LED or HID (only fog light left for HID)

I found a really great deal in Los Angeles, not brand name stuff but very bright lights and looks great

post pics soon

by the way, its a b*tch to install the front parking lights

FYI pricing for brabus for 10 pices over $5000

I decided to go with another company for $1500 but I will try to get them for $1000 for 12 pieces
