Question Removing Airbag Warning Stickers

Has anyone attempted to remove the yellow warning stickers from the visor surfaces? I've removed them from other MB models before with success, but the ones on the GLK look like they are printed on and not easily removed. Any advise or guidance would be appreciated.

There was a thread on the C class board about this subject. Your answer is ordering a set of visors from a country where the warnings are not required. If memory serves me, Canadian cars don't have the warnings on the visors, but I could be mistaken.

Instead of ordering new replacements from another country and paying a ridiculous price, just get them recovered at an upholstery shop.

Yes the Canadian spec GLK's have the air bag warnings on the visors...CMVSS 208 and FMVSS 208 (frontal protection standard are almost "harmonized")

Well that shoots down the quick fix, I couldn't remember which country it was that didn't have the warnings.

I also remember someone buying stickers that were of the same interior color and applying them over the air bag warnings. Maybe a search of the C class forum will turn up that thread?

Mine just fell off. I think from the heat here in Florida. You might try applying heat with a hair dryer.
