I am getting a quote from MB Canada for the Rear chrome trim strip. If you look at ML and GL, they both have it. IMO, this will make the rear look of GLK more complete.

Anyone has this installation? Appreciate if I can see a picture of it in a black car.

On the GL's, the only one that comes with it is the GL 550. It doesn't even come with the appearance pkg on the '09 320's or 450's. Many, including myself, have installed it on their GL's. It takes about 30 minutes. You need automotive trim adhesive tape. The plastic retainer clips have to be cut off of the plate, because there are no matching holes in the rear bumper on the 450's and 320's. There is a very detailed post under a topic titled "chrome bumper plate" or something similar, on the GL forum a couple years ago. The cost of the plate is around $220.

Thanks Scott. Just talked to the dealer, the trim is not available now. The only 2 chrome parts available are door handle cup and fog light surrounding.

I don't see anything that's extra in that pix. Do you mean the top bumper? or corner of the bumper

Changed my mind. It was quoted for $280 from MB Canada, I didn't install it. I paid same amount of money and installed roof racks on the car. The roof racks also improve the look of my GLK (it had black roof rails), as well as utility functions I may need in the future.
