I guess it's all relative. I find the HK7 stereo in the GLK absolutely amazing, better than any other cars I have owned, and the iPod integration is perfect, COMAND even shows Asian characters.

Spent few minutes playing with the sound set up, anybody else think the system sounds much better with the Logic 7 off?

depends on the source ... MP3, DvD Audio, or simply DVD movie.
Personally, mine is set on Logic 7 unless I am listening to MP3's ...

I agree. I had much better base responce from the Audi Q7 premium Bose sound pakage.

That's interesting. I always felt like base was lacking on Bose systems. Granged i'm comparing my CLS HK7 vs. my Audi Q7 Bose. The Bose is much punchy (tight, but not as deep) vs. the HK7 seems to have fuller base sound.

Just my opinion, but could be a bit different in the GLK truck.

Has anyone put a extra subwoofer in their car? Also, if I were to put a subwoofer in the car myself, would that void the warranty?

I enjoy my HK7. I don't think I will thinker with it since I don't enjoy too much base anyway.
