I can't find reference to this in the manual. What is it and what is it used for?

It's for the net that separates the cargo area with the passenger area. I've found it quite useful when putting dogs in the back.

Ahh! The picture I took was behind the front seats so there's one set for the cargo area and one set in case you fold the rear seats down and want the cage between the front seats and the whole rear.

I don't see it in the GLK350 brochure so maybe it's an accessory for another MB model.

that "hole" is standard in all cars but the net is an option.

I found the net in mine when I checked the spare. I did not order it. Did it come just with the Canadian cars?
