Dome Lights Removal?
I've tried but to no avail
Why would you remove them? Making disco lighting inside? haha
I replaced the entire interior lights with LED's (white)
I like how they look
I will try to take pics soon, (been busy)
I'm very curious to see how they look, and how you've been able to fit your GLK with LED's, especially without any errors coming up on the dash. If you can, post some pics. Thanks...

I was searching and happen to see your thread as well as another with a pic on how to do it for the W204. If the GLK dome light is the same then it would easily be removed by using a credit card. Please click on these links.

Here is the comparison between the 4300K LED compared to stock bulb.

I've actually tried that approach many times but am still unable to remove the darn dome light and its the exact same lights
Aaarrgghh!

) shown in the second pic? I did this last night and the dome light assembly separated quite easily. Good luck!
here is the link to remove dome lights
i'm gonna try it now see if it works for me
glad it worked for others
Here is what worked for me in my GLK
Tools: Credit Card
The LED's that I bought for my interior are not as bright as I would have liked. I've seen alot brighter in other threads. Oh Well.
Oh Yeah, No error message on the dashboard whatsoever
Check out the pics
1) This is my opinion is a crucial step. Make sure you do this first otherwise there are consequences that I will show you later. Use a credit card to get in between the plastic piece that surrounds the mirror and the dome light. Use the credit card to separate these 2 pieces. Then just go ahead and grab the plastic piece surrounding the mirror and pull down gently and slowly but with some force as well.

2) I'm not sure if this step is necessary but this is how I did it.

3) Note, this does not come off easily need to apply some force but be careful. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the clips that are holding this piece.

4) Then what is not shown below is that you stick the credit card right in the center closest to you between the cloth piece and the black plastic piece in the center. Then the entire component should go down easily just like the pic. Also I am pointing to the bulb (i'm sure I didn't have to)

5)

6) Sorry, forgot to take a pic of the LED that i used. Here is the difference with stock vs LED (like I said there are much brighter LED's out there than the one I got)

7) Here are the result. Replacing the other interior lights are very easy, I used a credit card as well except for the lights under the mirror, I used a small flat head screwdriver.

8) Note, I tried to show that there is no error message on the dash board.

8) This is the back light. This is pretty easy to remove as well same thing, use a credit card.

Hope this helps someone : )

I dont know how well you can see the scratch or break in the lights as a result of not trying to remove the plastic piece that surrounds the mirror first.
Darn. Hope the wifey dont see this or she will have a cow. Especially since she hates it anytime i modify anything in the car.
Sorry about the scratches and cracks man. Someone had to do it first.
Thanks for the pics. Very informative.
Did mine. Taking the mirror base cover actually helped as there were two plastic clips from these covers that were attached to the overhead console and mine almost fell off as I inserted the credit card to take it out.
The only thing left are the lights on the mirror housing, and the dome light in the backseat. One project at a time. Don't want to rush and make mistakes.

I was wondering for the GLK350 how many LEDS and for what part are they installed (ie eyelids, foot well, side markers, front dome light, back dome light).
My wife is looking to get a GLK350 so I ordered spares from the last W204 GB. I hope I have enough.
