Heated mirror?

I thought GLK comes with heated mirrors. However, I didn't find any botton on the panel, nor did I find anything about heated mirror operations in owner's manual. Am I missing anything or I was mistaken from the beginning?

I think they come on automatically, but not sure how exactly that will work once winter is here.

They should be like most new cars, once you turn on the defroster they come on. I have them in my infiniti and don't have a switch, once the defroster button is engaged they come on automatically.

Great. I guess I didn't read the manual carefully. Thanks!

That is the rear window defroster, not the windshield defroster. Both of my current cars have heated mirrors. They are great in the rain too. The heat drys the mirrors.

I'm a Geek! I have no GLK yet. So I read the manual.
Manual says the mirrors are heated if the rear window defroster is turned on and the temperature is low. Once again, M-B knows best. Not! I may loose the rain drying feature when it's 80F+ outside.

Upon further reflection, the system should be labeled Defogger/Deicer. Defroster isn't exactly accurate.
