Navigate to Phone Address
I can't seem to find any information on how to navigate to a phone entry address. I have an address entered for a phone entry and when I select option, the "Navigate" isn't selectable. Is there something I'm missing?

Welcome to the forums, seems like this it your first, don't be shy to give us introduction.
I'm not sure if understand your question correctly. Are you trying to input address from MB address book into Navi? I didn't know it's possible, but will try and see what happens.

I am new to the forums although I've been lurking and reading them for some time now since considering the eventual purchase of our first MB. We've been enjoying the experience so far.
My question relates to the list of contacts that is the GLK's phone address book. Some of them are complete with addresses. If you scroll down to a contact's address and then select options you get a list that says Navigate, Change Entry, and Detail. The Navigate is not selectable. It's a valid address in the MB's Phone Address book so I don't understand why it's not selectable.

If you create the address book entry via the navigation program then yes, but if you create it from the address book, no.
When the entry is saved to the address book it needs to have navigation information attached to it which can only be done using the navigation program.
You can tell by looking at the address bar of the entry details, you'll see an icon on the left if navigation information is available.
See the icon? If it's not there you can't use it for navigation.

So basically the 50 or so contacts I have in the MB's phone address books which includes complete address information cannot be used by the MB's nav program because it wasn't entered through it? That's terrible. There's no way I'm going to hand enter all of those addresses.

Not all the time, but if it's someone I know well enough to have them in my address book I generally know how to get to their house.
I used the NAV system extensively when I went on vacation to San Antonio and New Orleans, the POIs were really useful.
One time visits anywhere I usually don't store in memory.

I guess I just don't understand why the two can't sync up. It's valid address information that the Nav system should be able to use. Just doesn't make sense to me. It might be the engineer in me that is frustrated.

Hoping MB has upgrade that can improve this. I am still struggling with tiny font of street names, only show when you zoom-in all the way. Garmin is more user friendly in this regard.

2011 GLK 4Matic, Black, AMG, PP, MP
Hello Everyone! My first post and have been lurking for a couple of weeks.
We just got our 2011 GLK last night (Black, AMG pkg, Prem 1 & MM).
Anywho, I just got finished syncing up my contacts from my phone and I'm running the same issue as the OP. Anyone know if theres an update to this issue?
Thanks in advance
