Where do you put your iphone?
GLK w/iPhone owners:
Where do you put your iphone when driving? I put mine in the cig. tray, it fits "ok" with the cig tray taken out but still not a good fit.
Any one using stuff like this?

Nope, my iPhone is hooked up to the cable in the glove compartment. Even if it wasn't, I wouldn't have it in a mount. Not against mounts but it isn't for me.

Usually in the first cup holder...I have a nano plugged in at the glove box...and sometimes I use the A2DP from the iPhone if I have not updated the nano for a while and want to play a new song.

the cup holders. if not there, i put it in the door storage bins. a lot of times, though, i just leave it in my pocket, as bluetooth takes care of the rest. bt is probably the most useful convinience feature i have in my car. that and... power windows?

iPhone Media Interface Cable
Question about the Media Interface cable...I find it incredibly annoying because it's WAY too short! I don't want to have to open & reach into the dash every time to hook up my iPhone & open & reach in to unplug it every time I get out of the car.
Basically, the question is, where can I find the same cable, but longer???? I talked to the Benz Parts Department, & their advice was "go to Future Shop"....enough said!

I keep it in the second cupholder when not occupied - I'm fearful that if it is in the first holder and a drink spills into the holder that the iPhone will be sitting in liquid.
I am looking for a better solution since I usually have 2 phones on me at any given time and i hate having them roll around on the seat when i'm driving. I found these that look perfect for me but the prices are outrageous http://www.proclipusa.com/home/home.aspx
Best of all is that they have variants designed specifically for the GLK!
