Yes yes, we've discussed bad reviews of GLK and that us owners have been satisfied with our own experiences, etc.

Ehh the guy is biased and not really objective. it's all about how you drive not what you drive and it's about what your need the car for.
If i wanted big back seats and big trunk I would not be getting GLK. If I wanted very cushy car or sporty car I would not be getting GLK. It strikes the exact balance I was looking for, for the price I was willing to pay.

I'm not much of a fan for test reviews... I happen to know one personally and she says there's way too much politics and upper management pressure on them.
Even Consumer Reports has dropped the ball in recent years... especially with the '09 VW/Audi Jetta/GTI A3/TT w/DSG. After giving these cars their highest rating, they were recently caught off guard and red faced to learn that the DSG tranny in these models were dangerously faulty and failing in high numbers for over three years prior. It was so severe that it sparked a Federal Investigation by NHTSA/ODI because of the high number of reports of sudden loss of mobile power while driving on highways, etc. There's even a case where someone who recently purchased one of these faulty cars based on CR's recommendation may sue!
