Nice pics, wanted to ask... Rumor has it that you guys can watch DVD (Middle East + Asian Cars) while the car is moving on the Nav screen? Can you confirm?

 

billchen67522-I dont think you understand what I trying to tell you. It is about the 4.5-inch display in the instrument cluster, or the dashboard display when you look at to find out how fast you are driving.

when the car moving we only can listen to the radio and mp3


in china GLK don't hane NAVI if you need you will pay more and wait for month.

Most aftermarket integrated DVD/NAV units can be outfitted with a discreet KillSwitch that can enable that feature. My Kenwood DNX 9140 has it. I'm sure the MB units can be rigged accordingly. Something about tapping into the parking brake circuitry.Although, once I got over the initial euphoria of having the feature, I found no use for it.

Hello everyone, let me tell you more regarding this exciting event !
It was held on Aug. 29-30,2009 here in China . Name "GLK going thru the Zone into the past" Organized by the GLK Forum members of the Autohome Club China, which is the biggest and most popular Website of Cars and Forums.
There were 11 Glks and totally of 30 members plus family participated in this event. The place we went to is in Hengdian, Zhejiang Province which is about 300km from Shanghai. Hengdian is a small town but with lots of Historical Studios for Movie Making. You can find the famous Beijing Forbidden City there which is 1:1 scale. Similar to Universal or WB Studio. The site we selected to take the picture is the Qin Palace. Qin Dynasty is about 2,000 yrs ago. The Famous Movie which used this site is a Chinese movie call "Hero" which Jet Li is in it. Assume someone knows this Chinese. Haha !!

It is Fun to participate !! We will certainly share more with you all in the near future, if we have more activites. Thats it for now !!
