Just Picked Up Our GLK
Hello fellow GLK owners,
We just picked up our GLK today Sand Beige, Parktronic, Lighting Package, Heated Seats and Running Boards. The drive to Sindelfingen from Kaiserslautern and back was brutal nothing but road construction and traffic jams (stau). Quick note don't like the parktronic would not get it again the one in my BMW is much better! Anyway once we got there delivery process was pretty quick. We did not stay for the factory tour. It took about one hour for them to prep and deliver our car. Overall besides not receiving owners manual case and service booklet (said they ran out) it was a good experience. Did not have time to argue about it. They told me I can get them from dealer so I'm to talk to my CA tomorrow morning. I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

Yea please enlighten us! I was test driving a BMW 3 series before I decided to go with a Merc and I noticed only rear sensors for the BMW. Is this true? What makes their parking sensors better?

It depends on what model some are equipped with front and rear PDC. My 135 only has rear, but when I back up a computer generated image pops up on the nav screen. It actually shows you the sensor pattern and the color depending how close you are to a object. Also the parktronic in the GLK seems to false allot! I've turned it off a few time already! The warning lights in the back are hard to see in my opinion. Like I stated before would have spent that money on another option. Besides that the GLK is Awesome so far.
