If I am not wrong believe tire rack is using offset 45 as well. Will call them tomorrow and reconfirm.

I am interest in getting a set of winter tires/rim eventually as I am looking to pickup a GLK witihin 2 months. Like someone said on this thread.. if we do a group buy, would it be cheaper? How does it turn out/look like after putting on the 18" on the GLK? I've always seen GLK with the 20" but not 18".. not sure if it will look awkward.

RocketM, most of us are getting the 17" as is factory spec from MB. Will hopefully have pics by the end of the week. All the prices and choices are well documented in the original post

RocketM, we all went with 17's as pez said MB recommends 17 and 19 only. They don't make a wheel for 18 and thus they don't have a recommended size. The tires who can put on the 235/55 instead of the 235/60 which is 17's. In regards the height won't change since you will have a smaller rim but more tire for the winter weather.

K, went down there today to see the other rim. I took some pics through the iPhone not the amazing 10 megs, but waiting for better pics from him.
For those of you who have ordered and want to switch to the new Rim you can, just give me a call or PM. The new RIM package is the same as the other folks.
Also saw the AMG replica in the MB52, but was a complete no no, since it says AMC.
Can't picture anyone really buying that...

I believe for most members you have ordered your rims & tires are in. Sam should have given you a call, and if he hasn't please PM me. I am planning on going tomorrow afternoon for installation and ensure everything will be okay. Will take some pics with them on the car, but will have the 20's back on till end of October.

I decided to go with a black wheel, don't really feel like dealing with the brake dust and other dirt on the wheels during the winter months. Cost was $880cdn for the set.

Going with the new Rim
Took my wife along today to decide which one she likes on her car and at first she was on the orginal choice of: MB52 but on the ride back, she was like no lets go for the brabus copy. I am going with the new rim package, below are pictures we took.
