I know they'll fit because I put them on they day you came to the shop... all I needed was shorter bolts...
I just got off the phone with him and got a better deal on the wheels and tires..

ur setup looks nice.. i just didnt want to put 17's

The MB52 are the ones in the back... He has both of them in... He has yours ready... so when ever you go they are there. Give me a call if you have any questions...

The original bolts won't fit, but he will give the other bolts when you get it installed.

I don't think they have our tire size in the Ice Guard. The blizzak have a better reivew compared to the W300. On some reviews, they complained about the thread wear and slipping when using the tires in the second season...

My friend found the Ice Guard for our size for the 17", which cost me $700,
with the attached rims for $570, which total up to be $1270, don't know if this is a good deal or not and not sure if the Ice Guard is good enough for toronto's winter.

Wierd I didn't find that size on tirerack not ten ten tires. Personally the reviews were better on the blizzaks but everyone has their own choice. Not a bad looking rim but once the salt hits the machine polish side the shine will be gone.

Good luck with your purchase.

I saw this rim before at a tire shop, they told me $145 each + taxes (MB52 costs $140 + taxes), then each bolt $5. So, it is a good deal for $570, if you don't have to pay taxes.

I know, tirerack only had like 3 to choose from, but there is actually a lot more to choose from, my friend gave me like a list of 10 different tries for our size.

Actually tirerack only has two blizzak and pirelli's in the 235/60 r17. The list of all sizes I was comparing with the 1010tires.com lists which didn't have it. Congrats again for your purchase.

TMPS sensors required on winter rims?

Hello all,

Excellent advice in this thread. I'm pricing out winter tire and rim packages now for my wife's GLK. Tire rack gives an option on their website for adding TPMS sensors. Are these required and if not will I get an error message of some kind all winter without them? What is everyone else doing about this... ie: having the sensors from the stock rims moved onto the winters, going without, or buying separate sensors? They're not cheap! Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers from the Maritimes... where is isn't snowing... yet!

Since you are from Maritimes, I guess you have the Canadian version of GLK.

The Canadian version does not have TPMS sensor, it has a passive system using the ABS to monitor the tire pressure. Therefore, you do not have to buy a TPMS sensor when you are ordering the Winter Rim/Tire package. Only the US version has TPMS system with sensor.

I have my winter tires installed today. Both highway drive and local drive are smooth. I was easy on them with all the all-season tires at the back. Here are some pictures...

Looks fantastic Footmark! I've ordered the same rims and it is great to see them on the GLK.
