Question about wheel offset
I have been shopping around for aftermarket 17” wheel and I believe I found the wheel that I liked but the wheel has offset of 35mm instead of 47.5mm, which is the OEM spec for 17” wheel.
I am completely newbie when it comes to aftermarket wheel and I want to make sure that this wheel will work with GLK
Here is the spec for the wheel
Size: 17X7.5
Offset: +35mm
Backspacing: 5.70"
Bolt Pattern: 5-112
I have looked at TireRack website and honestly I can not find a 17” wheel with offset that’s anywhere near the 47.5mm, I think the largest offset is 37mm from BBS CV(17x7.5), almost all of them has wheel offset of 35mm for 17X7.5 wheel.
