Condensation in the front turning signal areas
#26
dull inside the assembly is very very annoying...and cannot be fixed but to replace...
well, unless you are a doctor and confident of removing the headlamp assembly, take it apart, polish it....and then put it back together...
i'd be a dick too...GLK owners....we dun't just compromise!

I guess I'll ask tomorrow when I go pick it up. I was chatting with the head mechanic when we did our drive around and he told me the same thing. MB is telling everyone that the new lights aren't fully sealed so a bit of condensation is supposedly normal.
Also something about the headlights not being fully sealed will prevent some kind of white powder residue from being left behind if lights burn out or something?
Thanks for slapping me back in line MBRedux!!

Fogging inside the headlight is typical of incomplete seal. Sometimes it would go away if you take off one of the bulbs and vent it out in hot days. If it is minor it might still be alright. But if it is too much it might decrease the life of the HID
Given the car is still under warranty, you should ask to have the headlight housing replaced.

It's just the turn signal area that has minor condensation on very select days. It doesn't appear often.
Also the turn signal area seems to be separated from the main housing as well as I never see any condensation besides in the turn signal area.
