Some here requested I post my Favorites list after my rather lengthy “Pet Peeve” list was posted a few days ago. So here’s my TOP 10…….

10) The Panorama Sunroof fills the cabin with light, even while driving on those moonlit fall nights in the country.

9) The fully independent suspension plants the tires firmly on pavement. (With a hop only once in awhile.)

8) The nano-clear topcoat has a durable glossy look and feel.

7) The MB-Tex interior is rugged and can take a beating especially from kids.

6) The boxy design is reminiscent of some earlier crossovers… but certain angles of this baby Benz are striking.

5) The full time 4-Matic system is stealthy and seamless… it emits a level of pure confidence.

4) The 3.5L V6 Engine with a larger bore (92.9mm) than the stroke (86.0mm) feels as free revving as it is refined.

3) The gear ratios of the 7-Speed Transmission hits a sweet compromise between comfort and performance.

2) Although crash tests are pending, I’m confident that the cage design of the sub chassis will pass with shinning colors.

….And my #1 Favorite Reason for liking our 2010 GLK Sport?

1) It makes my wife very HAPPY!

Well there you have it. Now it’s your turn…………

Great list!!

I would have to say the top 5 things I love about my GLK are...

5) The dual sunroof. Gorgeous! Open and closed!

4) The driver seat. Everything from its comfort and positioning to the look and feel of the cream leather... and memory settings! (my wife likes to sit close and high whereas I like to sit far and low).

3) The keyless go. Wow! Handiest thing ever... absolutely love it!

2) The fast engine along with the 7 speed automatic and sport mode. I love the seamless acceleration and the noise of the engine when it revs.

1) The overall look of the vehicle. It is rugged, youthful and unique. The GLK isn't mistaken for any other vehicle. Unlike the LR2 which looks like a Ford, the Q5 which looks like a Hyundai and the RX350 which looks like the other 3 million RX350s out there... the GLK's styling is in a class of its own. The large 3 pointed star and 20" wheels do hurt it either!

I think my favorite is that it's a well balanced car.
-Suv that drives more like a sedan.
-Not too big not too small.
-AWD helps in rain and snow
-And it has all of the features I wanted and none I don't care about.

It's a versatile car for almost any occasion.

Ya... that turning circle is very nice indeed! Price is also a good reason.... we didn't get keyless go... none of the black GLK's on the lot had it... but it's nice to have... our GT-R has it.

By the way... I read somewhere that those transponders cost a fortune if lost. Anyone know the replacement cost?

Favorite things:
-Noise it makes when locking and unlocking; the wifes MKX just uses the horn to notify.
-The way the heated seats seem to know when to drop the level down.

You know, I wish the tones were louder though. Too hard to hear from a distance like a horn can.
