The manufacturer (autocareproducts.com) says it was designed to protect parked vehicles that normally don't have side molding - exotic sport cars and the like. They stick with suction cups made of soft plastic.
Anyone know if this is any good? How do they look?

They're not meant to be on full time... you snap them on either side or both at a parking lot so that the idiot next to you doesn't ding your car. Then when you return, you simply snap them off and drive away.
