Bluetooth address book

Bluetooth address book
Just took delivery of a new 2010 GLK and paired my wife's LG env3 to it. The address book did not automatically sync with the car, and reading more about this online at wireless4mb, it appears the GLK does not support address book downloading. Am I missing something? It does say something about vcards downloading. Any help here???

Thanks, but i can't find the thread. I tried searching for bluetooth and didn't see one on this. A link to the thread or at least the title would be really helpful. Thank you!

Address Book Sync
When I bought my GLK I paired it with a BB 8830. Pairing worked OK but didn't port the address book over. What I found is that only certain software revisions on certain phones will allow the porting of the phones address book. There is a site that shows what software versions on which phones are compatible. Sorry I don't have the link anymore. I could have reverted to an older version of software on the phone just thought it was not worth it.

In the bluetooth setup menu of your phone, it will have the option of transferring address book. Set GLK to receive them and hit button on your phone. Should upload the address book no problem. Worked perfectly for BB 8820 and BB 8830 for me. Just make sure the MB bluetooh is highlighted on you list of paired bluetooth devices.
