Anyone knows how to copy from the PCMCIA Card to the Music Register on 2010 GLK. I got my GLK last week. I have done a lot of research on the MBworld found couple of good tips but not usefully.
I tried looking in HDD menu to change the Ripping function to copying. This is not available on the NAV system on 2010. I tried to get on the menu by holding “ Hang up + # +1” but no option to change the ripping to copying.
Any help will be appreciated.
1: How to copy MP3 files from PCMCIA Card to Music Register ? ( this is for Canadian GLK only, it looks that the software in US and Euro Cars might be different).
Many thanks

MBWorld Fanatic!
I'd try searching C forum. From what I read, I think, this option might have gone away on newer models even in engineering menu, but I really don't know.
Any reason for being able to do this besides not wanting to have dedicated SD card for music in GLK? I got 16 gig card that is kept in GLK.

That is sad that feature is not available. I got a 8 GB card. Didn't want to waste the extra 6 GB of HDD available space . I guess I can just copy over the Audio CD not MP3.
thanks everyone!

2010 GLK 350
I went through the same thing. Ended up purchasing a 32G SD card for the car and keep it there. Or do it the long way...copy to cd and then burn to hard drive.
