Check Windshield Washer Fluid

Normally when the indicator comes on I fill the reservoir. But after I filled it the light kept coming on. I called MB and they said that it sounded like the sensor. I brought it in and they gave me a loaner (it was a Camery) they have a whole fleet of them. When I came in to pick up my car they said it was not the sensor but the washer fluid I use Rainex washer fluid that I buy by the gallon. They said that the concentration did not bring the freeze point low enough. Never heard of a sensor that detects the temperature concentrate mixture.

In Florida I use Rainex for above freezing climates, never had a problem... Sounds like BS...

My SA in Illinois advised me specifically not to use Rainex products for that exact reason. He did not hard sell me on the factory stuff either....went with prestone...no problems.
