There are two ways to import phone numbers or vcards. There is a slight variation where one of them will let you delete items. Read them both and you will see. The other option is to reset the system back to factory settings which also removes navigation settings but that might not be important.
The other thing is I just recently drove a 2014 or 15 e"E" class and I did not see much difference. You can ask your dealer if there is an update but I'm thinking there is not.
Can't remember but my car did not have the lines on the back up cameras and somewhere along the way they appeared. Not sure if it was something I did or it happened when I updated my Nav system.
