Tailgate Open Warning
Have had the GLK for a month and a few days, just only hit 1000km and my first issue.
The instrument panel gives me the warning that my tailgate is open although it is closed. I check it and it is closed and properly locked.
I have opened/closed it numerous times with the door control, the key fob and the trunk it self. Both trunk buttons - the close and the Lock. Anything to try to reset it and no dice....
I get the warning when I begin to drive - the panel stays on the warning and I'm unable to view/use anything else while it's there. Each time the car comes to a halt it beeps and notifies me again..
Frustrated to say the least - especially If this is going to require trip(s) to the dealer and time with no vehicle. I've read the issues people have had with tailgate motor etc...
If I wanted to deal with BS problems I would have bought another Volkswagen.
