GLK 350
You won't need a hitch ball. Just buy a hitch-mounted bike rack with a 1.25 inch receiver and fit it into the mounting hole of the trailer hitch, and you're ready to go. You will also need a tite lock that will secure the bike rack to the trailer hitch.

Thanks for your reply.
I already have a bike carrier which mounts to the hitch ball. I already used it for the past couple years. It's cheaper to get the hitch ball.

is this the one you have? looks better than the valley hitch.
