Windshield Wipers -- how to raise when washing?
My new GLK is a little over 1 month old now -- I've washed it twice. Since the wipers are "below" the hood, you can't stand them up like a regular vehicle while you wash the windshield -- when I tried to raise them, the wiper on the passenger side looks like it doesn't go back to its original position at the bottom. How do you raise the wipers to clean the windshield -- and more importantly, how do you put them back to the original position???

lift the wipers slightly and pull them so that they are positioned at the end of a normal wiper sweep. At this point, you'll be able to lift them off and get unimpeded access to the windshield.
