I'm surprised that as many as 32% do renew.
I mean, how many times can you listen to Howard Stern make fart noises..?

I actually like sat radio, just don't drive enough to use it. All FM stations play 5 songs and tons of commercials.
Another dumb thing, is that even after merger with XM you can't get certain XM programs if you have Sirius...

There's a great new invention for all those still listening to Sirius/XM... it's call the Apple iPhone... haha... I have it rigged so it's soft mounted to the dash and wired into the Nakamichi*. Kills two birds (endless sound mixes that we made, and blue tooth car phone) with one stone so to speak.
*I pay for the music one time, and it can be transferred to our other cars whenever we feel like, forever!

Although I have Sirius and enjoy it another option that I use on my BlackBerry is the Mobile App for Pandora. It's great and I can take it anywhere, plug it into the Aux on my MB or any rental cars that I use of just plug in ear phone when I'm out just walking. And it's FREE. Pick the genre and you get all the same types of music.

Also what happens with music that you didn't pay for? I actually hate apple products (I have Iphone) for that, they are designed for music you buy from them. I have tons of music that was ripped off CD's. Apple is such a pain in this case.

Wired into what??? I think there is easier way to get music that you have in the car, 32Gb SD card...that just stays there. Can control from Command too.

But as far as the "illegal" stuff goes, well that's a whole different question, or you need to have a tech savvy teenage son.... which I do! hahahahah.

...and that's why you feel iPods/Phones/Tunes and Apple Corp. sucks? I beg to differ. Your reason to shoot down one of the largest, fastest, and most innovative companies on the face of the Planet appears to be off kilter and a little selfish IMO.

To be fair, we should have equal time for all six Zune owners.

lol yea ok, what's selfish about it? Their innovation did nothing for my very simple needs.
-Other languages don't read,
-if mp3 files don't have ID tags they show up with no names at all, althoguh file is named.
-flash doesn't work on iphone,
-iphone crashes and freezes, sometime I can't answer call cuz the sliding thing would just not work,
-battery life sux (ATT sux too, but that's only half apple's fault)
-And 99% of thousands of apps are total BS and have no real use.
Just to name a few.
I think some apple prodcuts are very good, but many are way overhyped
P.S. I do like Iphone, but I think i'll give android phone a try next, unless VZ iphone will be better.

If I drove everyday, Sirius would be an easy choice for me because:
1) Radio sucks.
2) Sirius's music collection is larger than mine.
3) Sports.
4) Sometimes I just want to listen to new/different music.
5) Sometimes I just want to listen to talk/news shows.
6) Their monthly fee equals the cost of lunch.
Basically it comes down to flexibility. My MP3 player and Pandora can not match this. No I don't work for them, hahaha.

CDs that can be downloaded for free "illegally" play and have ID tags coded in english language so no problems there.

I called Sirius the other day to ask if I could convert my 2 year plan that I already paid for into a lifetime subscription and they told me that they would give me credit for the unused months and the Lifetime subscription would be $699.00 plus $75.00 in royalty fees and I said.

I've changed my mind about renewing my Sirius subscription. Thinking about buying a CLS and trading in my GLK. New ones come with 1 year of Sirius and lifetime traffic. Thanks anyway Shak.
