Gear Shifting @ 12/13 mph ... not smooth?
I am not sure if this is an isolated case, but recently I have noticed at between 12 - 13 mph, the gear shift change is quite noticeable. It does not seem a smooth shift. I have noticed this happening after using the manual mode???
Have always left in the C position.
May have to test an another GLK...![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Anyone with similar outcome?![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

you'll feel it more in Sport mode. In C mode, I feel it also in the 1/2 gear range... but not all the time. Usually it's most noticeable when the engine is cold.

The only shifts that I find out of character are also at or near 10-12 MPH. But it's when I am slowing down and the thing downshifts......It's rougher than whatI would do with a stick shift. It is also highly intermittent.

thanks guys for your input.
When I am at dealer next...I will mention it.
Strangely, it has been happening intermittently.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Chillertwist, you mentioned it happens when it is cold, but for me it happens after I have been driving for a few hours....
RedRover, during downhills, the GLK does a remarkable job of downshifting without any "jerking" feeling...

This is common issue with many new ECU driven trannies. (You think your GLK has issues, VW’s DSG type transmission has become a nightmare for many VW and Audi owners. The Mechatronics Units on tens of thousands of cars are malfunctioning worldwide.)
It’s a firmware glitch that they are working on and will most likely be *reflashed* or downloaded into your car at no charge when it’s in for routine maintenance.
