350 GLK - 4 Matic
Diesel .....
Started a new thread as it was going off topic - winter mats was the original.
it gets colder than -20 here, and there are still diesels running around. I reckon they add something special to the fuel, but it doesn't stop them sound like Russian t34 tanks. Still would have gone for it for the milage you can get. Coming from the uk, diesels are a way of life and nothing to be scared of.
Thank you for the "support", and note what your "fellar UKs" have gone -/are going through:

Diesel is OK, with different engine characteristics, lot of torque and fair milage, especially the BlueEFFICIENCY. However are there some challenges, as you know, with regard to temperatures below -20 degreesC, when the fuel has to be mixed properly.
And besides, the 220 CDI was the cheapest we could get, 96k (approx. 1/2 of the price is taxation by the government!) CND + 15k CND in some "ad-ons".
Enjoy your 350 - and wait for the GLK 250 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY or the GLK 350 CDI 4MATIC![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
