Weird colours on the brake rotor

Today when I got out of my GLK, I noticed something VERY off with my rims. My rims were SO full of brake dust so I decided to investigate even more. As I got closer and closer, I noticed a yellow colour that is very prevalent on the brake rotor. This is on ALL the brake rotors.
Heres some pictures :

Anyone have any clue as to what this is? I was thinking it might have been something I ran over, but I'm usually very persistent when it comes to dodging things like that / pot holes.

Don't wory about it it's just a little bit of rust! The brake rotors are made of steel and in contact with water they do rust a little bit but it cames back to normal whem you drive and use the breaks a couple of times. You'll notice that when it;s sunny outside and there's no water contact the brake rotors have a pollished silver look.

^^^what he said. Look at any car standing outside for a few days after rain, you'll see rusty rotors.

aAll rotors happened to be like this when got in contact with moisture or water. No exception, drive it few miles and it should come off.
