Four years maintenance
#5
They used to cover 4 years 50k miles maintenance for free but stopped. As for the reason why they dropped it, or why they haven't offered it again is beyond anyone here. Most speculate its because repair and maintenance work is a huge money maker for them.
You can however get a new extended warranty plan called the Mercedes-Benz Star Service Pre-Paid Maintenance. It runs $769 for 3 years or 30k miles, which after doing some math, equates to getting one servicing for free (prices differ from service center to service center though).

Or you could have joined the Mercedes Benz Club of America (http://www.mbca.org) a year or more before you purchased or leased your GLK and received your $1500 owner loyalty charge card -- then used this to pay for your maintenance and other goodies at your local MB dealer.

Yes, you are correct -- 12 months. But that would likely cover the 1st GLK maintenance and some expendable items such as brake pads, wiper blades, oil filters for the GLK and service and parts for another vehicle, which is what I plan to do in a couple of weeks on my CLS.
