Trading '08 C350 AMG for a '10 GLK 350 good idea?
My warranty expires in about 300 miles. Should I pay the $4900 for the extended warranty on my car (that i bought brand new in 2008).
Dealer says they will accept my trade AS-IS and ship me a GLK 350 4MATIC for $43,000. Should I just purchase the extended warranty package to ensure peace of mind or should i take advantage of the 3.99% APR they are offering (current APR 5.0%) for 72 months and trade up. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP. I cannot decide!!

Set your priority and financial situation. If you drive that much (warranty expires in 2 years) and if they give you decent deal on 2008 C350, you should take a newer 2011 GLK (not 2010).
Old cars with high mileage have low retail value.
C350 AMG? There are only 2008 MB C63 AMG , C300 or C350 Sport no?
What kind of ext. warranty they offer you for $4900?
2008 C350 retail for $20K-$25K. Is it worth to pay $5K for ext warranty?
What options on the 2010 GLK that they want for $43K?
In your local area, you may sell C350 higher than trade-in price?

terrible idea money wise
Keep C and skip the warranty, put 4900 in the bank for future repairs. If car starts breaking too much sell it then.
43k GLK better be pretty loaded, and 3.99% apr is pretty bad, you can prolly do 60 months at 1.99% and if you need 72 month financing at higher rate, you are stretching yourself and should try to live within your means.

yea right, there are a lot of options. ALL options will push MSRP of this car close to 57-58k, and invoice price would be around 50k, so I doubt 43k car has ALL options.
Let me just point it out, you are deciding if you want to pay extra 5k for warranty or extra 18k to get into newer car.
Also what kind of warranty? How many years/miles?
